What is a Subluxation? Subluxations are extremely common and occur when a vertebrae is knocked out of place. What causes subluxation?

Subluxations are most commonly caused by some type of physical stress. These types of stress can be the result of slipping on a wet floor or from falling down a staircase. Subluxations can also be the result of improperly moving any kind of heavy object.so take caution when a friend asks you to assist them in moving. Always lift with your legs and not your back so that you are able to lift properly. Subluxations can also be the result of small repetitive movements such as twisting. They can also be the caused from traumas such as being involved in a car accident. Moreover, Subluxations can be the result of any kind of joint injury especially in the back more importantly in the spine.

How do you fix subluxation?

The chiropractors restore the misaligned vertebrae to their proper position in the spinal column. This procedure is done manually by completing what is known as a spinal adjustment.
